Le Pepinere Emmanuel School -- Gracie
Hello again :) it's Gracie! So, yesterday we went to La Pepiniere Emmanuel for the second time, again making journals with the students. The children were so sweet; the boys blew us kisses and the girls were kissing us on our cheeks, it was so cool! When it was time to leave, the boys and girls latched onto us and wouldn't stop hugging us. I almost fell over 3 times!
Martel’s Perspective
Day 3: Le Pepiniere Emmanuel School in Cap Haitien. After breakfast at the hotel, we set off into or first day at the school. I was expecting it to be a little outside the city with big classrooms and lots of students and an area for students to play soccer during their breaks. That was not at all what we found.
Sarah's Day 2 Reflections
Good morning! It is Sarah, I just wanted to give you a quick overview of what we did yesterday. First of all it was a holiday in Haiti, so there was no school. It was Chrostophe Day. Also it was our first full day in Haiti. We woke up and had some breakfast at our hotel. Angelina and Elena came to our hotel.
Gracie in Haiti
Hey this is Gracie(the one in the red in the picture)! I'm just going to give you guys a summary of what we've done so far... It's beautiful here! Everything about this place amazes me; from the children to the buildings to the land itself. It is truly an amazing experience, and I've only been here for two days! :)
CPP Team Arrives in Haiti
Seven adventuresome students and adults from Prescott, AZ arrived in welcoming Haiti yesterday, October 7. Traveling on behalf of the local non-profit Children's Peace Project, the team landed in Port-au-Prince and then flew up to Cap Haiten arriving late in the afternoon.
