Day 4: From teacher training to soccer...the work continues!

It was a busy day yesterday at La Pepinere Emmanual School (LPES)! Our day started early in the morning as we arrived at the school. The team immediately went to work, handing out and writing names on about 200 water bottles for the students. Along with the water bottles, we handed out rubber bracelets made by Skyview School students in Prescott, AZ.

While this was happening upstairs, David was downstairs with the teachers doing a teacher training session. After we got through all of the water bottles, it was time to move on to some activities. Anna started upstairs with the 2nd-5th graders teaching them some fun dances and chants. While Fiona was in the next room working with the rest of the students on a soccer clinic. It was so much fun laughing and teaching the kids!

When we finished those activities, it was time for the students to go home and for us to go out to lunch. (And boy were we tired!)

After lunch, some of the team went back to the school to finish painting the library and installing the water bottle shelves. Later that night we packed up our stuff and headed up to Cormier beach and Resort for a little rest and relaxation by the ocean.
