Thanks to monetary and book donations from CPP’s wonderful supporters, students at École la Pépinière Emmanuel have a school library with over 200 books — the first one the school has ever had since it opened 23 years ago. The library includes a wide selection of books in French, with a handful of elementary books in English for students. It even has some higher-level books for the teachers to enjoy!

While we seek to improve the availability of textbooks for students, we hope that this library fosters increased literacy and sparks a love of reading among students. Next up, Creole reading books and a full arsenal of textbooks for all students!
